Washington D.C. - Prayzework Records, a new Gospel Record Label, located in the Washington D.C. area held a Prayze Party on Sunday, March14th to introduce the label and its artists to the Gospel Music Industry and the Public at large. The Prayze Party held at SIPPSS Café in Fort Washington, Maryland was filled to capacity with a variety of guests, including industry professionals from radio, TV, and other forums. Many people lined the seats, walls and aisles to hear Prayzework Records artists
Marc Staggers, Vandoren & New Praise, Posse 4 Christ, and Eric Dolford perform. Each artist lit up the stage with short showcase performances.
One of Washington's premier gospel radio stations radio personnel, April Watts of WYCB, Spirit 1340 AM, was the host of this event. "I haven't seen talent this intense since the WYCB anniversary celebration; I have really enjoyed myself this evening. Keep your eyes and ears open for Prayzework Records, they are going to definitely make waves in the Gospel music industry,” said Watts.
Prayzework Records recent release of artist Marc Staggers CD "Message of Hope" is receiving rave reviews.
Marc Staggers recently opened for Hezekiah Walker at the 2004 Anniversary Gala for Heaven 600, in Baltimore, Maryland.
