NetMusic is a service geared towards music lovers worldwide. We keep our potential audience large by offering our service worldwide, offering standard formats like MP3 (with OGG and AAC to follow soon), and offering recommendations to visitors who just can't get past the fact that they want that Britney download. We are currently located in Seattle, WA with a branch office in NYC, NY. There are talks underway to open up NetMusic Asia (based in Tokyo), NetMusic Europe (in London), NetMusic Middle East (in Dubai), and NetMusic Australia (in Sydney). In other words, NetMusic is truly worldwide. We believe that someone who lives in Tokyo, for example, should be able to enjoy (and pay for!) music the same way as someone in Los Angeles. While our competitors bang their heads against the wall with launching in Europe, NetMusic is already making sales (and generating loyal
customers) in Europe. There are definitely good things about being a "small" company... we have a huge amount of flexibility.
In keeping with our artist and consumer friendly approach, we offer single track downloads for $.89 and most full album downloads are only $7.99. For those consumers not interested in the digital, we offer CDs at prices competitive with the likes of Amazon.com.
We are currently working with major clubs in Seattle, New York, LA, London and Tokyo to have "NetMusic Presents" nights where the only music played by the DJ/stereo system/etc... comes from the NetMusic catalog. In
order to maximize these nights, we will be setting up kiosks within the clubs so patrons can instantly go to
NetMusic.com and buy it.
In conjunction with NetMusic.com, NetMusic Corporation has launched NetMusic Records and NetMusic Publishing to further expose artists who fall below the radar of the "major" labels. We believe that in the end what the intelligent consumer really wants is choice and quality.
