Company description:: “Sweaters”, the lead track from Beth Waters’ new self-titled album made its radio debut on San Francisco’s KFOG 104.5FM Acoustic Sunrise program. This past Saturday night, December 13th, “Sweaters” was played in its entirety as the soundtrack for a pivotal scene in the Lifetime Television network’s hit drama “1-800-Missing”. Setting the mood for this climatic scene, Waters’ song is clearly heard over the radio in the fictional coffee shop where the scene takes place.
Waters is working with Luke Eddins of “Luke HITS”, a unique company that places independent music in commercial Television and Film projects. A second track from Waters’ new album, “Blue and White” has been placed in an episode of The WB television network’s “One Tree Hill” scheduled to air January 13th, 2004.
Waters’ is currently featured in three national magazines, Women Who Rock, Jane and Independent Musician. Waters’ album will also be reviewed in the March 2004 issue of Performing Songwriter Magazine.
At present, the album “Beth Waters” is available online through Amazon.com, TowerRecords.com and CDBaby.com. The album is expected to be released nationally early next year and will be available at record stores across the country.
Beth Waters’ next live performance will be in the Bay Area on Saturday, January 3rd, 2004 at Spotlight on The Square in Alameda.
